Thank you card

I made this card for a good friend who recently gave us a lovely dolls house for our daughter. I cut the scalloped circle with the cuttlebug, punched the butterfly out and added beads to the body, printed the thank you greeting and finally punched out some paper buttons.

I would like to enter the card into the following competitions:

Fab & funky no 21 - no design papers
Flutter by wednesdays - CAS
Paddinton's MSE challenge - 3B's
Creative cottage no 8 - circles
Allsorts challenge - be inspired
Magical crafts no 13 - something for the girls
ABC challenge - T is for thank you

Husband's Birthday card & butterfly punch card

I haven't made any cards in a few days, but made this car one for my husband's Birthday. I printed the background of all the little red cars as a watermark directly on the card. The car was a decoupage print out, which I stacked using foam squares. I then printed out the checked flag pieces and mounted them onto cocktail sticks. Finally I stamped an image of keys on the front and coloured in.

I bought myself a new toy the other week, a butterfly punch, so I couldn't wait to try it out. I punched the butterflies directly out of the card and the put a piece of pink card on the reverse to give a bit of colour and added some beads to the bodies.

Flower power

Haven't managed to make any cards for a few days (major withdrawal syptoms) so grabbed the opportunity today to use some of the bits I had left from a magazine and make this today. I'm fairly pleased with the results (even though I'm not really one for flowery cards)

Let them eat cake!

Here is my card I made for Dawnteabag's challenge on MSE "make a card with a cake on it". She set the challenge for those of us not fortunate enough to go to the NEC today. I had the paper already and cut it into a cupcake wrapper shape. Then stuck the icing with cherry on top with foam pads to give it a 3d effect. All this talk about cake is making me hungry though, must go and rummage in the cupboards see what we have in....

I managed to make another card yesterday. This is an easter card for my Nan. I got the items free with lets make cards magazine, and had great fun making it.

Hi all and thanks for visiting my blog. After being inspired by the lovely ladies on MSE, I finally started crafting a few weeks ago. I decided to start off my blog with the first 2 cards I made a couple of weeks ago. The bingo one is for my Mother in law who loves bingo so I thought it was quite apt. Hopefully bring her a bit of luck next time she goes! The bear one was for my mum who loves anything cute.
